Happy Mexico Anniversary

This was such an amazing trip and I'm glad I am married to my very best friend! We have so much fun together and even though I was having the fun pregnancy sickness it was still sooo amazing and I loved every minute with Jake. I thought it was interesting that the whole time I was there with my work I was never offered drugs- just alcohol and it was nice to just tell them I was pregnant, but walking around with Jake I got offered- marijuana, "the white stuff", "the green stuff", blow and simply "Ju wann get high?" Everything was strictly virgin and the Daiquiri's and Margarita's were delicious!

CABO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went on a work trip to Cabo where we went for cont education courses that were 4 days 8-1pm. We had to do a skit to introduce the team at the beginning of the seminar so we did the SNL "Perfect Cheer" hence the cheer outfit picture. Also I had a lot of 1st's like getting a henna tatoo, boogie boarding, free room service and water taxi. We had a sweet dance party on the beach with a limbo and fire pit! When my work team went home Jake flew out to join me for our 5 yr anniversary celebration and we stayed where we went on our honeymoon, a time share that the in laws so lovingly let us use! It was amazing and so mostly the pictures will describe how it went.

Angie's 1st shower!

This was probably the cutes most color coordinated shower I've ever been to. My sister in law's friend and friend's mom Peggy threw her a fun red,black and white shower! Everything matched (the flowers, presents they wrapped, the food, and the games) and we played all sorts of fun games with clothes pins and bracelets where you have a key word you can't say and if you do people steal yours. Then we made bouquets out of odds and ends ( you can see my mother and sister in law's pictured below)

Dad in town and Tyler's B-day

The first two are of the spank line so we could make sure Tyler got all 24 spank'ns.


Then we went out for dinner with my dad at an amazing Mongloian Barbeque place called Charlie Chows and had a crazy waiter. He was really nice but had quite the personality and we all just about died when Lyndi with her hand outstretched walked straight for his crotch. Turns out we didn't notice but he had a sweet Optimus Prime belt buckle and all was ok once we all realized that was what she wanted to see. We were also invited over to my Grandma Prince's home to celebrate my brother Tyler's and cousin James' Birthday. My grandma is an amazing cook so we all ate ourselves silly and talked and laughed. It was great and luckily my dad was in town and could come!

Finer things club!

If any of you are fans of The Office then you know what this club entails, if not it is like a book club with finer things... namely good food! Jake and his mother and sister Angie started reading well before me and until they went out for a nice dinner one night with out me I wasn't going to do the club with them because I am not really a reader. But my love for food and hate to miss out on things inspired me to read the book while at Lake Powell. We read "The Lovely Bones" and it was a little heavy for me in the beginning but the interesting point of view and descriptions were the best I've ever read. After the completion of the book we all went to the movie and dinner where we discussed our favorite parts of the book or asked each other what they thought about certain things. The pizza factory turned out to be a good place for a bread stick dual and Angie had an interesting ice experience (if you'll notice the picture of her cup with the ice suspended). Oh ya and we were honored with a celebrity guest appearance of Alvin the Chipmunk which Lyndi was delighted with!

Christmas and Christmas parties

Christmas day was very busy between opening presents, talking to my two brothers on their missions, skyping with my family and the Memmott family Christmas festivities where the family is so big we use the church cultural hall and tables to fit all of us! Jake also made zombie tag shirts as you can see from the pic of my sister in law Angie and her fiance Eric.

My friend Michelle invited me and lisa over for a sleepover! It was a blast and I haven't had one in forever. Of course we had to take some silly pictures! Then I also got together with some high school friends and went out with Jake to the Roof for our company Christmas party. Love Christmas time

My Aunt invited my family, my brother Tyler and his wife, and my sister Amber over for a Christmas dinner and we had soooo much fun talking and bringing up old family memories.
