Dank Doo

So we really aren't the type of parents who force their children to sit on Santa's lap, but while Becca was at the mall Lyndi got all excited to go and see the "ho ho ho," so she let her out of the stroller. The girl ran right up and sat on his lap, but then she started to realize what she had done and was looking a little nervous. He gave her a little sucker and she gave him a "dank doo" but she still kept an eye on him. You can never be too careful with people who you've only ever seen on an ornament, seasonal plate or stuffed. Anyways, there were no tears, so we count it a success.

We just did some last minute christmas shopping at target. CRAZY We not only lost lyndi for a bit but we sat her on top of a box and she fell through the top. sounds like we're terrible parents but we're just happy we all made out alive. This picture is of her right after modeling with a cheesy grin, some lip gloss after she stole the applicator and smeared it all over her face. Not to mention sucking on it for its wonderful Kiwi strawberry flavor!

Happy Face After the Last Final (of this semester)

That's right, I'm done with finals now and it feels great. I do have to say that I think I look pretty good for a guy who's just spent close to 200 hours studying and test taking in only two weeks. Unfortunately this shot didn't capture my withered frame or the blood oozing from my ears. Anyways, grades don't come out until mid-January so I'm planning on spending the next 3 weeks of freedom recuperating (playing video-games and eating myself silly). If it's true what everyone says, then the worst part of law-school is behind me and it will only get easier from here on out.

Thanks to my amazing wife Becca who was nothing short of amazing during these two weeks of torture, to my Dad who quizzed me on the drives to and from school, to my Grandma Loosli who let me set up a studying command-center in her living room so that I wouldn't get distracted by Lyndi's cartoons and to everyone who prayed for me. It is REALLY good to have at least one semester over with.

This was the view out my window on the one sunny day from my hotel room in San Diego. My boss sent all us girls their for a seminar. We got to go to Sea World the first day before it started. I'll post some pics soon.
